XML vers PDF

It parses the XML, groups repeating sibling elements by tag name, and renders each group as a table with one column per child element, using element names as the headers. If the root has no repeating children, you get a two-column Property and Value table. The output is landscape A4 with the root element's name as the title.

Data-style XML: records with the same set of child elements repeated under one parent, such as database exports, invoice line items, product feeds, RSS feeds, or sitemaps. Deeply nested or document-style XML is flattened, so nested values are joined into a single cell and lose their hierarchy.

The file isn't well-formed: an unclosed tag, a missing root element, an unescaped & or < character, or a bad encoding. The message includes the parser's reason, so fix the file in an editor or validator and try again.

Partly. In the table view only child elements become columns, so attributes on the repeated records are not shown. In the Property and Value view for a non-repeating root, attributes are listed after the child values.

Yes. Add several files and they're converted in one batch into xml-to-pdf.zip with one PDF per file. A single file downloads directly with the same base name and a .pdf extension.

No. Stylesheet instructions and DOCTYPE declarations are stripped before parsing, and the layout is generated from the data structure alone. If you need the styled rendering, open the XML in a browser that applies the stylesheet and print it to PDF from there.

Not reliably. The PDF is built with jsPDF's standard Helvetica font, which covers Latin characters, so text in other scripts may show up as wrong or missing characters.

No. Parsing uses a JavaScript XML parser and the PDF is generated with jsPDF, both inside your browser, so invoices, transaction logs, and other sensitive data in the file never leave your device.
