No. Each page is exported with text drawn as vector outlines, so it scales cleanly and doesn't depend on fonts being installed, but it isn't live text you can select or search. If you need the words themselves, use PDF to Text alongside the SVG.
One per page, since SVG has no concept of pages. A single-page PDF downloads as filename.svg, a multi-page PDF becomes filename_svg.zip containing page_1.svg, page_2.svg and so on, and several PDFs at once download as pdf_to_svg.zip.
The output is standard SVG that opens in Inkscape, Illustrator, Figma, and any web browser. Shapes, paths, and text outlines arrive as editable vector objects, while photos embedded in the PDF stay as raster images inside the file.
Scanned or photo-heavy PDFs produce big SVGs because every raster image is embedded in the file as base64 data, and pages with thousands of tiny vector paths add up too. For image-based pages, PDF to PNG gives a smaller and more practical result.
Drop as many PDFs as you like into the tool and click Convert. Each file is processed in turn and the results are collected in pdf_to_svg.zip, named after their source document.
No. Every page of every uploaded file is converted at its native page size, with no scaling or range selection. To convert only certain pages, split them out first with Extract Pages.
You're prompted for the password after upload, and conversion proceeds once it's accepted. The SVG files themselves carry no password.
No. PyMuPDF runs inside your browser as WebAssembly and writes the SVG files locally, so the PDF never leaves your machine. The engine is fetched on first use, which is why the first conversion takes a moment longer.
