Nothing beyond packaging. The PDFs are copied into a single pdfs_archive.zip with their original names, unchanged, in the order you added them, so what comes out of the ZIP is byte for byte what went in.
No. The archive is written without compression, since PDF content is already compressed internally and would barely shrink anyway, so expect the ZIP to be about the combined size of the files. To reduce the size, run them through Compress PDF first and zip the results.
A ZIP keeps each PDF as a separate file inside one container that the recipient unpacks. Merging joins the pages into one PDF document, which is what you want when the files should be read as a single document; use Merge PDF for that.
Duplicate names are handled automatically: the second file becomes name (1).pdf, the third name (2).pdf, and so on, so nothing gets overwritten inside the archive. Rename the files before uploading if you'd rather have meaningful names.
No. Only files with a .pdf extension or a PDF file type are accepted; anything else you drop in is ignored. For a mixed bundle, use your operating system's built-in zip feature instead.
No. The output is a standard ZIP file that Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android open without extra software; double-click or tap it to unpack the PDFs.
No. The archive is assembled in your browser, so the files are read from your disk and the ZIP is written back to it without any network transfer. Bundling invoices, contracts, or medical records this way keeps them on your device.
